Learn to Play Mahjong in the Forest! 🀄🦊

Have you ever walked past a Mahjong table, heard the click of the tiles, and wished you knew how to join in? Here’s your chance! On Tuesday, November 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Magical Forest is welcoming North Shore Mahjong for a Mahjong 101 class, made just for beginners.

In two cozy hours, you’ll learn the basics of American Mahjong from start to finish: how to recognize the tiles, how to read the National Mah Jongg League card, how the Charleston works, and the gameplay and strategy that tie it all together. By the end of the evening, you’ll be ready to sit down for your very first game.

All Mahjong materials are provided, so there’s nothing to buy or bring ahead of time. And since you’ll be learning surrounded by books, you just might find your next favorite read while you’re here! 📚
