Finding Color on a Gray Day at Algonquin Road School 🍂📚

On Thursday, November 19, Susan is heading to Algonquin Road School for the PTO’s Literacy Event, where she’ll read Nothing Ever Happens on a Gray Day by Grant Snider to students and their families.

In the story, a girl sets out on her bike on a dull, drizzly day, sure there’s nothing to do. As she wanders into the woods, she starts noticing flashes of color and the busy life of autumn all around her. Each family will take home a craft packet so kids can add their own pops of color to a gray scene. 🎨

As a former teacher, Susan treasures every chance to celebrate reading with local schools. Thank you to the Algonquin Road PTO for inviting us! 🦊

And don’t worry, the forest won’t be quiet that night, The Meandering Bookshop will be here hosting our genre book club from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
