Author Visit November 22nd!

Stacy Salomone Whitcomb has dreamed of being a children’s book author since fourth grade. Though she studied and taught literature and composition her whole career, it was seeing the world through her children’s eyes that became the catalyst for her first children’s book. She is a high school English teacher and lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband, two daughters, son, and Golden Retriever. In her free time, she can be found taking her kids on adventures, cheering them on at their sporting events, exploring at the dog park, diving into a good book or television series, or traveling.

Her book, Baby Munchkin, tells the story of a toddler who is excited for the arrival of her baby sister.  She decides MUST be named Baby Munchkin! Expanding families will enjoy this sweet and humorous story that will help prepare young children for the arrival of a new sibling.
